The 2006 Renaissance Festival in Kansas City

Every fall, Bel Canto travels to Kansas City to participate in the Renaissance Festival.  Here are some pictures Emilie Bouvier provided of this year's trip.

Members of Bel Canto left Lincoln very early on Saturday morning, September 30 and carpooled to Kansas City to start performing around 9:00.  They spent the day exploring the park and performing for other Faire-goers.

September 30 is very early in the school year to perform, as the class had only had about four weeks to get a program ready.  Hard work pays off, though, and the Faire is always a great experience for students.

As part of the Renaissance Faire experience, students get to meet all sorts of interesting people and try fun "new" foods.
